The Expo and the Affair with the Chocolate Extravaganza last weekend were amazingly fun.  We, as creative designers, had a ball!  We had the opportunity to create holiday-inspired table top designs that were not only stylish, trendy and elegant, but also whimsical – and best of all, something that YOU could re-create for your own holiday table.
Our table top was inspired by the Christmas tradition “A Partridge in a Pear Tree;”  we took the traditional, and twisted it slightly to “deconstruct” the literal.  Our table top featured cocoa brown linear crush linen, which was reminiscent of tree bark, and centerpieces of pears, cranberries, holiday greenery and flowers in a footed compote.  Large and small sterling birds and pears, tucked into a wreath of greenery, graced the table in a fun, whimsical way.  The look was completed with beautiful silver-beaded glass chargers and simple, elegant stemware.
The Affair was a great opportunity for ISES members to showcase their incredible creativity and talent through a variety of table top displays.  There was such a wide array of holiday-inspired themes and talent … all of which were fun, all of which were beautiful and creative.
The holiday season is upon us … Enjoy!
